Timothy MacKay - Managing Funeral Director:
Joined Chris Slater Funeral Home in 1990
and has been in funeral services for the
past 16 years. He attended Humber College
in Toronto and received his Funeral Director's
License in 1995. Born and raised in Prescott
the son of Duncan MacKay and the Late Sandi
MacKay (Robinson). Tim comes from a large
family; he is a twin and one of seven boys.

and family
Allecia Atkinson - Parsons - Licensed Funeral
Director:
Was born and raised in Algonquin. Attended
Brockville Collegiate Institute until graduation
in 1998. Allecia began her post secondary
education as a Business Administation Student
at Algonquin College and in 2000 began the
Funeral Services Program at Humber College
in Toronto. Allecia received her funeral
directors license in 2002 and worked in the
Toronto area for two years before coming
to Prescott in 2004. Allecia is the youngest
daughter of Don and Gail Atkinson. In July
2006 Allecia married Ken Parsons and they
now reside in Maitland.
Chris H. Slater (Former Owner) - Licensed
Funeral Director (Retired):
Born and raised on a dairy farm in Inkerman.
Joined the N.H Hammond Funeral Home in Spencerville
in 1965. Attended Canadian School of Embalming
in Toronto and received his Funeral Director's
License in 1967. Worked in Orillia and Vankleek
Hill - Hawkesbury before purchasing the former
George T. Appleton Funeral Home on Edward
St., Prescott in 1976 and the Grant Brown
Funeral Home McDonald Chapel on Dibble St
West, Prescott in 2000.
